Hi I’m Gina….
I’m an independent line producer and creative producer with over 15 years of experience in television and digital production.
I hail from the great borough of Queens where as a kid I’d spend my time playing baseball in the street, eating pizza and watching a lot of TV. I was always obsessed with television and would often ask myself, “How’d they do that?”.
As a teenager, I’d watch every and any kind of BTS footage from shows, movies and music videos I could get my hands on. The ‘Bonus Features’ were my favorite part of a DVD. I loved learning about everything involved in coming up with the final product. I was always amazed that through all the chaos there was a team that was solving problems on the fly, juggling people’s personalities, minding the money and making the machine run. Without knowing it then, I was already in love with Production.
I graduated with a double major in Film and History from CUNY: Hunter College, packed my bags and moved to LA.
Since then, I’ve worked my way up the production ladder, starting as a PA, getting familiar with the many intricacies involved with each step. Those experiences give me the context I need now when I'm leading teams, creating efficient workflows and solving problems for my team. I started in reality and contrary to popular belief, it was relentless. It felt like I was working 24/7 and it really shaped my stamina for the rest of my work. Production is always on… and there is something oddly satisfying to me about that.
Most recently, my work has evolved into branded content in the digital and Latine market, for Millennials and GenZ audiences. However, with 15 years of varied experiences, I’m ready to push the norm with new projects at all times and most importantly always being me!
Keeping the NYC hustle with the LA vibes.
